Chiropractic treatment is typically not painful however some people may experience some discomfort either during or after treatment. Potential side effects can include aches, pains or stiffness.

It is important to note that if you do experience any discomfort either during or after treatment, please do inform your chiropractor.

Yes! Chiropractic is a safe treatment method however, as with all treatment methods there are some known side effects and potential risks.

During the initial consultation, your chiropractor will be screening for any risk factors for any potential side effects or adverse risks. If any of these are present, they will discuss potential alternative treatment methods with you. These discussions will take place before commencing treatment.

We generally aim to treat you during your initial consultation so that we can get you started on your journey to recovery.

There are times where this may not be possible, particularly if the chiropractor needs to spend more time with taking your medical history and conducting your physical examination.

In preparation for your first appointment, all we ask is that you complete the medical history intake form which should take a few minutes to minimise any delay in commencing with your physical examination. If you have not received this link, or are unable to access the form, please Contact Us.

The number of sessions will depend upon your condition as well as how you respond to treatments. Your chiropractor will provide an indication of the number of treatments which you may need when discussing your plan of management during your report of findings at the consultation appointment.

Most patients see an improvement in their condition after a few treatments. If you do not notice any change in your symptoms within a few treatment sessions, please discuss this with your chiropractor.

You can decide to stop treatment at any time. All we ask is that you contact us at the clinic to let us know.
