At Chiropractic Healthcare Derby, we aim to make the process of booking your first appointment easy. You can book online by signing in to ‘Jane’ app by clicking the ‘Book Appointment’ button and following the online instructions.
Prior to your first visit you will receive an email inviting you to complete an online questionnaire. If you are unable to access this, please contact the Clinic HERE. If you are unable to complete the questionnaire, not to worry! You will be able to complete this at your first visit.
The purpose of the questionnaire is to capture your personal information and general medical history. This will inform your chiropractor of your general health Status and will be used to inform the diagnosis and treatment options available to YOU. It may take up to 5 minutes to complete.
During your consultation, your chiropractor will spend time asking you about your condition and understand how this is affecting you, They will then complete a physical examination which will include components of a medical examination before testing the skeletal, muscular and neurological systems. The chiropractor will decide if any further imaging is required and make any appropriate referrals based upon the findings of the physical examination and case history.
They will then provide you with a report of findings which will outline what they believe to be the diagnosis as well as outline the treatment options which are available to you. They will explain any risks and potential side effects to treatment before describing the treatment methods available to you. Generally, the report of findings and first treatment will happen on the same day as your consultation appointment but there may be occasions where a continuation appointment may be necessary.

This is for patients who have previously been registered with Chiropractic Healthcare Derby who are presenting with a new issue or complaint. This appointment is important to ensure that appropriate investigation can be undertaken into the new complaint.
