At Chiropractic Healthcare Derby, we aim to make booking your first appointment as simple and straightforward as possible.
You can book your appointment online by clicking the ‘Book Appointment’ button below. This will take you to our online booking system, where you can select an appointment and follow the instructions to complete your booking.
Alternatively, you can call the clinic directly and a member of our team will be happy to assist you with arranging your appointment.
Before your first appointment, you will receive an email inviting you to complete an online questionnaire. This questionnaire helps us gather some basic personal information and details about your general medical history.
The information you provide will help your chiropractor understand your overall health and will contribute to the assessment, diagnosis and discussion of appropriate treatment options.
The questionnaire should take approximately 5 minutes to complete.
If you are unable to access or complete the questionnaire online, don’t worry. You can complete it when you arrive for your first appointment.
Once your questionnaire is completed, your chiropractor will discuss your health, symptoms and any relevant concerns with you as part of your initial consultation.
During your consultation, your chiropractor will discuss your symptoms, medical history and how your condition is affecting you.
They will then carry out a physical examination, including assessments of your general health, musculoskeletal and neurological systems. Based on your history and examination findings, they will determine whether further imaging or referral is required.
Your chiropractor will then provide a Report of Findings, explaining their clinical findings, diagnosis and the treatment options available. They will also discuss the potential benefits, risks and side effects of any recommended treatment.
In most cases, your Report of Findings and first treatment will take place during the same appointment. Occasionally, a further appointment may be required.

This is for patients who have previously been registered with Chiropractic Healthcare Derby but who have not had a treatment session for 9 months. A re-examination is important to check that nothing has changed since your last appointment.
This is for patients who have previously been registered with Chiropractic Healthcare Derby who are presenting with a new issue or complaint. This appointment is important to ensure that appropriate investigation can be undertaken into the new complaint.
Please note: This appointment does not include a
full case history, physical examination, or treatment.
